While travelling home with his father from the east, Ulvar ends up bringing back more than he bargained for. He meets Niketas, a stowaway who unintentionally finds himself in the cold strange lands in the north.

Will their newfound friendship get in the way of Ulvar’s duty as the chieftain’s son? Or will it instead develop into something more?
